Abstract:The distribution characteristics of lymph node metastasis of biliary tract cancer (BTC) were retrospectively analyzed to find the regularity of BTC lymph node metastasis. MethodsThe clinical data of 153 BTC patients who underwent CT, MRI, and PET/CT examinations in our hospital were collected, and the characteristics of BTC lymph node metastasis were analyzed. ResultsThe top three sites of lymph node metastasis sites in intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma and hilar cholangiocarcinoma were retroperitoneum, the hilar lymph nodes, cardio-diaphragmatic angle. The top three sites of lymph node metastasis sites of gallbladder cancer were retroperitoneum, the hilar lymph nodes, posterior pancreas. The top three sites of lymph node metastases of distal cholangiocarcinoma were retroperitoneum, posterior pancreas and the hilar lymph nodes. ConclusionDifferent types of BTC have different regularity of lymph node metastasis, but the metastasis rate of retroperitoneal lymph node drainage area is the highest. In the design of radiotherapy target, attention should be paid to high-risk lymph node drainage area.
