Abstract:Epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) inhibitors are currently the first-line small molecule-targeted drugs commonly used in the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). However, drug resistance inevitably developed after long time exposure of the EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitors (EGFR-TKI), which has become a great challenge in the treatment of NSCLC. In this paper, we summarized the mechanisms of drug resistance of EGFR-TKIs in the treatment of NSCLC and reviewed the research progress of relevant reversal strategies.
